2016 DATA REVEALS IMPRESSIVE GROWTH

6% Growth across the suburbs of 4017.

Over the last 4 years, we have seen the combined suburbs of Bracken Ridge, Brighton, Deagon, Sandgate and Shorncliffe sell over 600 houses in the calendar year compared to the average of 420 for the previous 10 years of sales history. Seeing in excess of 200 more homes being sold a year in 4017 for the last four years indicates there is massive appeal to live in the region.

The seaside suburb of Shorncliffe leads the way with the median average just shy of $700,000 followed by Sandgate at $582,000. Neighbouring suburb of Brighton has been the big improver and has made the more fancied Sandgate sit up and take notice, with some great gains pushing it very close to $500,000.

Deagon still remains the most affordable to purchase in at a median of $433,500.
