Ally Wimpenny

Ally Wimpenny is a senior property manager at Touch Residential, matching owners with the right tenants across Griffin and North Brisbane. Born in Townsville, Ally grew up on the Redcliffe peninsula from a young age. Her working life started full time at Coles, and in retail she did nearly everything: cashier, photocentre operator, 2IC, store manager, inventory controller and more. She spent 6 years with her previous company, rising through the stores into head office. Almost 5 years ago she brought that customer service experience across to property management, and holds her real estate certificate.

For Ally, the job is the people on both sides of a tenancy. Finding an owner the right tenant for their property is a great feeling. Better still is telling a tenant they have been successful and hearing the joy in their voice; in her words, one of the best feelings in the world. Knowing she has helped a family find a home to settle into is a different kind of happiness. Building real relationships with owners and tenants is what she does best. And she loves that real estate never stands still: always something new to learn, and it keeps her on her toes.

Away from work, Ally spends her time with her husband, their daughter and her two step sons. They get away camping in the caravan as much as possible, and love a road trip and some red dirt on the tyres.
