Jase Stevens

Jase Stevens is a business support officer in the property management team at Touch Residential, helping owners and tenants with whatever comes their way. And he genuinely loves it. Jase has lived in both Melbourne and Brisbane, but these days he is back where it all started: Dakabin, 500 metres from the high school he graduated from in 1990. As he puts it, he has come full circle.

Most of his working life has been in sales, where connecting and communicating with people has always come naturally. He also ran his own cleaning business for 14 years, which is how he met Mathew and Shelley, doing most of Touch’s bond cleans. What started as a business relationship quickly became a great friendship, and he was even asked to MC their wedding, an absolute privilege. Not long after, Mathew and Shelley asked him to pull up stumps on the cleaning business and join the Touch property management team. Nearly three years on, he has not looked back. Having run his own business for so long, he knows how special a family business is, and he is proud to be part of this one. Playing with the puppies during routine inspections is, he admits, one of the perks.

Jase is a proud dad to three sons aged 18 to 26, who still love hanging out with their old man, a bond he is incredibly grateful for. He follows the Canterbury Bulldogs and Collingwood, and watches them lose far too often, he says. Otherwise you will find him in the Valley watching live bands or disappearing into the bush with the camper trailer. He is partial to the odd tattoo, loves getting out on the paddle board and is always up for an adventure. His absolute best mate is Ace, his 15-year-old dog, and he loves that old fluffball to bits. Life, he says, has been a pretty interesting ride so far, and he is grateful for the people, the laughs, the adventures and the opportunities along the way.
