Portfolio manager Shelley Walsh-McCullagh leads the property management team at Touch Residential, the family business she and Mathew set up in Griffin. Born on the Sunshine Coast, she has called the Moreton Bay area home since she was 10 and knows its suburbs the way only a local can. Her real estate career began in a role servicing Kallangur through to Ipswich, where she learned property management from the ground up and became its business development manager. She managed everything from caravan parks and National Rental Affordability Scheme properties to market rentals for first-time and multi-property investors. That experience propelled her to build her own portfolio, her own relationships and a trusted brand in her community. She backs it with a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Queensland (2010 to 2012), majoring in real estate and development.
Shelley knows renting can feel overwhelming, whether you are looking for a place to live or handing over the keys to the family home. That is why she loves being the trusted middle person: the one who helps both sides feel safe, secure and looked after, one client at a time. Her favourite part? The variety, because no day is the same. Her proudest achievement is the high-performing, multicultural, close-knit team she and Mathew lead, and watching them reach new heights in their careers. Ten years strong, and ready for more decades of hard work and laughs.
At home in Griffin, Shelley is tackling the teen and toddler eras at once: a step mum of 10 years to two teenagers, and mum to daughter Marlee since 2025. Ducky the Australian Shepherd rounds out the family, a lover of all people and toys and 100% motivated by treats. An only child and, by her own admission, fiercely independent, Shelley is an avid Brisbane Lions supporter, complete with grand final day decorations and last-minute September flights to Melbourne. She is an unashamed Nickelback and Robbie Williams fan, and a firm believer that everything is better with a coffee, or a Pinot Noir.

As a former landlord myself, I was very impressed with this.
Shelley has singlehandedly transformed the unit complex from taking it on by firstly being highly organised and efficient in all of her dealings with the tenants by upholding a high standard of expectations of care and cleanliness for the apartments. She operates in a friendly manner that engages the tenants and is always 'firm but fair'. In vetting and signing new tenants, Shelley has the knack of getting the best tenants into the property and has made a tangible difference to the overall environment as a result of her careful tenant selection and subsequent management of them. It has indeed been my pleasure to deal with Shelley and I can whole heartedly recommend her services to you.
